Our High Visibility Vests (also known as high visibility waistcoats or Hi Vis/Hi Viz vests) are for use by children day or night, all year round. Every child should have a high visibility vest for walking, cycling, horse riding etc.
Road safety is the most important benefit of our high visibility vests. Another important benefit is that a child in a hi-viz vest will be more difficult to lose in a crowd.
High visibility vests have a fluorescent yellow background and retro-reflective tape (two bands right around the hi-viz vest plus two 'braces' over the shoulders of the vest. The high visibility vests comply with standard EN 1150:1999
Some suppliers may offer you the choice of a single 'one-size-fits-all' high visibility vest, perhaps with one size meant to cover the entire primary school age range, with the vest only fitting properly when the child is about 8 years old!.
